‘The best is yet to come’. This saying applies very well to the ‘Twilight Saga’. The previous two episodes provided the viewer with great deal of entertainment, as the characters from Stephenie Meyer’s novel assumed real form in the movie. Having gained the impetus from the ‘Twilight’ and the ‘New moon’, the movie ‘Eclipse’ is expected to do much better than its previous two versions.

Jacob Black, having transformed himself into a wolf at the end of the ‘New moon’, now has more tasks on his shoulders. Having had Bella’s company after Edward moved out of Forks, Jacob now feels the warmth of her company and realizes that he needs her for life. He fears that she will avoid him after the return of Edward. He asks her out, but in vain as Bella still feels more strongly for Edward and chooses him over Jacob. Shattered by this he decides to go away from Bella. But he realizes that her life is at stake and he needs to be around for her to be safe.

The director deserves a special pat on the back, for his realistic display of emotions even for the beasts and vampires that are termed as ‘soul less creatures’. The love Jacob has for Bella can be seen in the sparkle in his eyes when he transforms himself into a wolf. Similarly, Edward says much without using words. Bella Swans as usual is beautiful and has done her part really well. Meanwhile, Bella’s dad, Charlie Swans, Fork’s Chief of police who has been in the dark about the killings in the city all this while, will know the truth soon.

The treaty between the wolves and the vampires needs to be respected. According to the treaty, the wolves and the vampires will remain at peace as long as the vampires don’t bite a human being. The instant they do it a war is bound to break up between the clans. The question that arises here is, if Bella decides to marry Edward and become a vampire too, Edward has to bite her so that she becomes a vampire. This violates the treaty between the werewolves and the vampires. This clause seems good enough to give a new twist to the story.

As the next movie to follow in the Twilight series is ‘Breaking Dawn’, the end of ‘Eclipse’ is expected to have a hitch that makes way for the next part.
