Director David Slade’s upcoming romantic fantasy, ‘Twilight-Eclipse’ has already started making huge strides in the film industry. Having won the National Movie Award in the ‘most anticipated movie of the year category’, it is now all set to break the existing records. All the movies of the ‘Twilight’ series have been based on Stephenie Meyer’s books. The imaginary characters of this thriller have been given their present form in the movie by the screenplay of Melissa Rosenberg.

The release of the first episode of the saga in 2008 raised all eyebrows as, within no time ‘Twilight’ became the heartthrob of millions of young hearts all over the globe. The book which was written targeting the youth has delivered the goods and done far better than the estimates. At present, audience of all ages is waiting on tip toes for the release of the movie.

The three main characters around which the movie revolves have become the talk of the town. Robert Pattinson playing Edward has expressed a vampire’s feelings without talking much. Kristen Stewart has done an outstanding job as an eighteen year old girl who fights against all odds to retain her vampire love. She has undergone a gradual transition from the role of a young curious girl in the ‘Twilight’ to a more mature and responsible role in the ‘Eclipse’. The story would be incomplete without her werewolf friend, Jacob Black. Though the character of Jacob was overshadowed in the ‘Twilight’ by Edward, in the second installment he became more significant in Bella’s life after Edward abandoned her.

Jacob Black, a werewolf seems to have assumed a more important role in the upcoming episode of the saga. Love for Bella has made him forget the hatred in his heart towards the vampires, who are the traditional enemies of his clan. According to the novel ‘Eclipse’ by Stephenie Meyer, he now teams up with the vampire to combat Victoria and her group of savage vampires. Meanwhile, Jacob cannot stop himself from falling in love with Bella. Bella who was unsure of her love for Jacob realizes that she loves him too. A mention of a kiss between Jacob and Bella is made in the novel. This heralds the beginning of some upcoming romance between the two in the ‘Eclipse’.

On a whole, the movie is sure to be a huge success from the image it has created for itself because of the previous episodes. Kristen Stewart’s expression of emotions will be tested when she finds herself in a dilemma having to choose between the two men.
