The filming for David Slade’s most awaited movie, ‘Twilight-Eclipse’ began on August 17, 2009 at Vancouver Film Studios. After 10 months of work, the movie is all set to be launched into the theatres on June 30, 2010. Bella’s turning into a vampire also remains a question unanswered till now. Hopefully, ‘Eclipse’ comes up with good news for the Cullen fans in this regard. Jacob, who cared for Bella and protected her with all his might till Edward returned, now fears that he will lose her to Edward. He is also scared that Bella may start hating him if she changes into a vampire, because werewolves and vampires have been enemies since centuries.

Alice Cullen, Edward’s sister looks into the future and senses that Bella is going to be one of them too. Thus, the Cullens agree to accept her as a part of the family. Edward and Bella make wedding plans. Jacob who is madly in love with Bella sees no way out. His sorrows are doubled when Edward gives him the wedding card. He is unable to control his feelings and hence runs away into the forest transforming himself into a wolf.

The action filled romantic series began in 2008, when Director David Slade, filmed the book, ‘Twilight’, by Stephenie Meyer. Ever since that happened, there was no holding back. Every year an episode is being released. In 2009 it was ‘New moon’, this year ‘Eclipse’. Both the previous installments have become a major hit in the industry. This is one of the reasons as to why there are very high expectations from this episode too. It is also the first Twilight movie to be released in IMAX.

With ‘Twilight’ marking the beginning of an eternal love story between Edward and Bella, it now moves into its third installment. The highlight of the preceding episode was the departure of Edward from Bella’s life and she finding solace in Jacob. The ending of the movie kept the viewer guessing Bella’s answer as Edward’s proposal was left unanswered for the third episode. As one expects a ’yes’ from Bella, ‘twilight’ being known for its untimely surprises has much more in store.

The main questions a viewer will have in his mind are about Bella’s choice after the return of Edward and her choice of being human or a vampire. Following the murder of his father, Jacob also seeks revenge from Victoria. Thus, Jacob and Edward in spite of having differences among themselves, choose to agree upon a truce to fight Victoria. They are helped by the other members of their respective cleans in this task. A new introduction is Seth Clearwater, a young member of the wolf pack, who joins Bella, Edward and Jacob in the mountains.

Bella and Edward had to face a test from the dangerous vampires of Volturi in the ‘New moon’ and were let go of, by them. They seem to be taking a very important role in the ‘Eclipse’. But whether they will join with the Cullens and the werewolves to terminate Victoria will be answered only when the movie is released. With new vampires joining hands with Victoria she is all the more savage and destructive. It will require the vampires and the werewolves to fight with all their might to overpower the common enemy.

Similar to the question about Bella accepting Edward’s proposal, one more question that needs to be answered in the ‘Eclipse’, is Bella’s choice of remaining human or becoming a vampire. All these questions will be answered on June 30th with the release of the movie.

‘The best is yet to come’. This saying applies very well to the ‘Twilight Saga’. The previous two episodes provided the viewer with great deal of entertainment, as the characters from Stephenie Meyer’s novel assumed real form in the movie. Having gained the impetus from the ‘Twilight’ and the ‘New moon’, the movie ‘Eclipse’ is expected to do much better than its previous two versions.

Jacob Black, having transformed himself into a wolf at the end of the ‘New moon’, now has more tasks on his shoulders. Having had Bella’s company after Edward moved out of Forks, Jacob now feels the warmth of her company and realizes that he needs her for life. He fears that she will avoid him after the return of Edward. He asks her out, but in vain as Bella still feels more strongly for Edward and chooses him over Jacob. Shattered by this he decides to go away from Bella. But he realizes that her life is at stake and he needs to be around for her to be safe.

The director deserves a special pat on the back, for his realistic display of emotions even for the beasts and vampires that are termed as ‘soul less creatures’. The love Jacob has for Bella can be seen in the sparkle in his eyes when he transforms himself into a wolf. Similarly, Edward says much without using words. Bella Swans as usual is beautiful and has done her part really well. Meanwhile, Bella’s dad, Charlie Swans, Fork’s Chief of police who has been in the dark about the killings in the city all this while, will know the truth soon.

The treaty between the wolves and the vampires needs to be respected. According to the treaty, the wolves and the vampires will remain at peace as long as the vampires don’t bite a human being. The instant they do it a war is bound to break up between the clans. The question that arises here is, if Bella decides to marry Edward and become a vampire too, Edward has to bite her so that she becomes a vampire. This violates the treaty between the werewolves and the vampires. This clause seems good enough to give a new twist to the story.

As the next movie to follow in the Twilight series is ‘Breaking Dawn’, the end of ‘Eclipse’ is expected to have a hitch that makes way for the next part.
